PRIMER REGISTRO DEPERCURSARIA DA WSONII HOLLENBERGET ABBOTT (ULVACEAE) CHLOROPHYTA EN BAJA CALIFORNIA, MÉXICO

Abstract

Percursaria dawsonii Hollenberg et
Abbott (Ulvaceae, Chlorophyta) is reported
for first time for the Pacific coast of Mexico,
based on sampling conducted in March and
April of 1997. Jts southern distribution limit
is extended 600 km, from San Luis Obispo
County, California USA to Campo de
Enmedio, Baja California, Mexico. We
describe details of the thallus, habitat and
distribution on the Baja California coast.
