Abstract

The male gametophyte of Veleroa subulata
Dawson is describe and ilustrate for the first
time. New localities for the species are
reported for the northwest coast of Baja
California, based on material collected in the
subtidal zone between 12 and 27 m of depth
during 1992, 1993, 1996 and 1997.
