CHLOROPHYTA (ALGAS VERDES) MARINAS BENTÓNICAS INTERMAREALES DE MICHOACÁN, PACÍFICO MEXICANO

Abstract

Twenty-six species of intertidal marine benthic
Chlorophyceae (green algae) are reported for 12
coastal localities in Michoacan, Mexican
Pacific. Penicillus sibogae A. Gepp et E.S.
Gepp, previously known for the Indian Ocean,
is reported for a first time in Pacific Mexico.
The objective of the present paper is to
contribute to the floristic knowledge of the
Michoacan coast.
