Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The discussion is emphasize those results which support new concepts or interpretations.
- The manuscript include a section with CONCLUSIONS.
- LITERATURE CITED include only those references cited in the text of the article.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). Bibliographic reviews, compilations, state of the art or bibliographic surveys are NOT accepted
- LITERATURE CITED are in alphabetical order by author and in the following form: surname of the first author, his/her initial; initial and surnames of co-authors (as appropriate); year of publication; complete title of the work; abridged name of the journal and volume number; first and last page numbers separated by a hyphen.
- LITERATURE CITED are in the following form: surname of the first author, his/her initial; initial and surnames of co-authors (as appropriate); year of publication; complete title of the work; abridged name of the journal and volume number; first and last page numbers separated by a hyphen.
- The work contains CONCLUSIONS.
- The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
- The text is configured in letter-size pages, Times New Roman font with size 12 points, double spaced and 2 cm for margin; there is no maximum number of pages
- Wherever possible, URLs are provided for references.
- The article is written in Spanish, English, French or Portuguese. In the case of being written in a language other than Spanish, an extensive summary must be included in this language.
- Photographs are in a format JPG with a resolution of 300 dpi.
- The article begin with a title that clearly expresses the nature of the study.
- The article begin with the surname(s) of the author or authors, with their corresponding initials, without titles or indication of academic degrees.
- The article should begin with the name of the laboratory and institution where the research was carried out.
The manuscript include a section with SUMMARY and RESUMEN.
The manuscript include a section with Key Words and Palabras Clave.
The manuscript include a section with INTRODUCTION
The manuscript include a section with METHODS. When an established technique or method is employed, citation of the original publication in which this is outlined is sufficient.
The manuscript include a section with RESULTS.
- The paper contains DISCUSSION limited to what is original and to other data directly related and considered new.
- The work contains the concise DISCUSSION about the results obtained,
- The work contains LITERATURE CITED formed by the citations of the books and articles mentioned in the text of the work. It uses Mendelay® (free reference manager) or the word citation manager.
