Copyright Policy – License and Rights

By submitting a manuscript for publication in Polibotánica, the authors agree and declare the following:

• Publishing License: The authors grant Polibotánica the non-exclusive right to reproduce, publish, distribute, and publicly communicate the article in any format or medium, now known or hereafter developed, while retaining full ownership of their copyright.

• Creative Commons License: All accepted articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. This license allows third parties to share and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given and the same license is applied to any derivative works.

• Moral Rights: The moral rights —such as the right to be identified as the author and to object to derogatory treatment of the work— remain with the authors, who will be cited as such in all published versions.

• Originality Declaration: The authors declare that the submitted work is original, unpublished, and does not infringe the rights of third parties. They also confirm that it is not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.
